Is a bandage worn after chin laser?
Yes, after laser lipolysis of the chin, a compression bandage is worn continuously for two days. For this reason, if dental treatment is also planned on the same trip, the chin laser is done after all the dental procedures are finished. If possible, the doctor would like to see the patient again on the second day. The plan is made together at the consultation.
When can I use a swimming pool after chin laser?
No swimming pool for five days after laser lipolysis of the chin area. This period is longer than the three days that apply to fractional laser and radiofrequency microneedling. Flying on the same day after treatment is possible, but the doctor would like to see the patient again on the second day, if possible. If you are in Antalya on holiday, the day of treatment can be chosen around your pool and sea plans.
Can chin laser be done for people who take blood thinners?
If you take a blood thinning medicine, the doctor makes a detailed assessment before chin laser. Antibiotics taken after surgery, on the other hand, are not a problem. Tell the doctor about all the medicines you take at the consultation; a photo of the boxes is enough. Whether the treatment suits you is decided after this assessment. After chin laser, a compression bandage is worn continuously for two days.
How do I know if I have rosacea?
If redness of the face comes with pimple-like bumps, dry eyes or burning, an assessment for rosacea is needed. In a face that flushes often, thread veins can become permanent over time. Hot environments, alcohol, spicy food and sudden temperature changes increase flushing. The assessment is done at a dermatology clinic.
How do sun spots form?
A sun spot does not appear in a day; it is the result of buildup over years. With intense and repeated sun exposure, the cells that produce pigment are overstimulated, and pigment collects unevenly in some areas. Spots are mostly noticed in September and October, because the difference in tone becomes clearer as the tan fades.
