Botox and skin treatments during your dental trip to Antalya

Author: Uzm. Dr. Oya Oylum Argun

Yes, you can usually have Botox and other skin treatments while you are in Antalya for dental treatment. Dr. Oya Oylum Argun, a specialist dermatologist in Muratpaşa, says nearly all of her treatments can be planned around a dental trip. What matters is the order and the timing, which she sets for each patient.

Can you have Botox on the same day as dental treatment?

Yes. Dental treatment comes first and Botox follows it, and the two can be done on the same day. Dr. Argun gives this order for patients who combine a dental trip with Botox.

Upper-face Botox at the clinic costs ₺9,500 (≈ €172). The price is the same for every patient, whether you live in Antalya or fly in from the UK.

How many days should you leave between treatments?

It depends on the treatment. Botox can follow dental work on the same day. For laser lipolysis under the chin, Dr. Argun prefers a gap of five to six days.

For every other treatment she sets the timing after seeing you. When you first get in touch, send your arrival date, your dental or surgery appointments and your flight home.

What if you are in Türkiye for weight-loss surgery?

Patients recovering from bariatric surgery, such as a gastric sleeve, are assessed one by one. The dermatologist decides at the consultation whether a skin treatment suits the same stay and when it should be done.

Which skin treatments can you plan around a dental trip?

Nearly all of the treatments the clinic offers can be planned around a trip, with the timing set for you. Each one has its own page:

  • Botox and dermal fillers for expression lines and lost volume.
  • Lip filler with hyaluronic acid.
  • Laser hair removal, planned by body area.
  • Skin renewal: microneedling and chemical peels.
  • Mesotherapy, skin boosters and polynucleotides, planned as a course.
  • Laser lipolysis and BBL for the area under the chin and for redness.
  • Mole checks with a dermatoscope, which take a few minutes.

Why does the season matter on a holiday in Antalya?

Skin that is renewing after laser or a peel is more sensitive to the sun. On tanned skin, laser settings change or the treatment is postponed. Tell the clinic if you plan to spend days on the beach, because it can change which treatment is done and when.

At the consultation the doctor goes through your plans for the rest of the trip before choosing the treatment and the date.

Does the doctor speak English?

Yes. Dr. Argun consults in English and Turkish and speaks basic German. For patients who speak Russian or Arabic, a professional interpreter or translation device is used.

How do you book around your dental appointments?

Message the clinic on WhatsApp on +90 505 491 44 32 with your dates. The team replies in English and confirms the appointment personally. The practice is in Fener, Muratpaşa, and is open Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 19:00.

If your only free day is a Sunday or outside opening hours, for example because you fly home on Monday, ask anyway. The request is passed to the team, and the clinic opens if it is available.

Frequently asked questions

Who carries out the treatment?

Dr. Oya Oylum Argun carries it out herself. She is a specialist dermatologist with more than 19 years in practice and a member of the Turkish Dermatology Association. She examines every patient before a treatment and performs the injections and medical procedures personally. You see the same doctor from the first consultation to the end of your treatment.

Is the clinic authorised to treat international patients?

Yes. The practice holds Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate No. ST-4780, issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye. It is also listed on HealthTürkiye, the official health tourism portal. You can see the certificate on the clinic’s certificate page and ask the clinic to verify it before you travel.

How much does a consultation cost?

An aesthetic pre-consultation costs nothing. If your visit turns into a cosmetic procedure, you pay only for the procedure. A medical examination for a skin condition costs ₺4,000 (≈ €73). Prices are in Turkish lira and are the same for every patient; the euro figure shown is approximate.

What should you tell the clinic before you travel?

Send your travel dates, your dental or surgery appointments and the date of your flight home. Mention any medication you take, a pregnancy, a history of cold sores and treatments you have had before. These change which treatment suits you and when it can be done, so the doctor asks about them at the consultation.

Can you have a mole checked while you are in Antalya?

Yes. A mole check uses a dermatoscope, which magnifies the mole and removes surface reflection so the pattern underneath becomes visible. The check is painless and takes a few minutes. A mole that has changed in shape, colour or size should be seen without waiting for a routine appointment.

This page is for general information and does not replace an individual medical assessment. The approach that suits you is decided at the consultation.
