What is mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy delivers a chosen ingredient into the upper layers of the skin through many small injections. The aim is to place the ingredient directly in the layer where it needs to work.
What does a skin booster do?
Skin boosters focus on the skin’s capacity to hold moisture. A moisturiser applied to the surface stays in the top layer; the difference here is that the ingredient settles deeper.
What are polynucleotides (salmon DNA)?
Polynucleotide treatments use molecules sourced from salmon DNA. They aim to support the tissue’s own repair process.
How many mesotherapy sessions are needed?
None of the three is finished in one session; each is planned as a course. The reason is that skin renewal takes a certain time, and sessions are spaced to match that cycle. How many sessions you need depends on the condition of your skin.

When is mesotherapy used?
Mesotherapy is used for dark spots, stretch marks, loss of moisture, signs of ageing and the scalp. A different formula is chosen depending on the aim, and it is placed with tiny injections into the layer where it needs to work. Which formula suits you and how many sessions are planned is decided at the consultation, based on the condition of your skin.
Can I use a swimming pool after mesotherapy?
No swimming pool for one day after mesotherapy. This rule applies to all injections, including Botox and filler. Flying on the same day after treatment is possible. If you are on holiday in Antalya, the session day can be chosen to fit your pool and sea plans by discussing it at the consultation. Personal advice is given on the day of treatment.
Does oily skin need moisturiser?
Yes, oily skin needs moisture too. Oil is the sebum the skin produces, while moisture is the water content of the upper layer. Skin can be oily and short of water at the same time. If moisturiser is stopped completely, the skin may increase its oil production to make up for the water loss. For oily skin, the real question is which texture to moisturise with.
Why does the skin barrier get damaged?
Hot and long showers, harsh cleansers, frequent scrubbing and strong ingredients applied one after another are the main habits that damage the skin barrier. When the barrier weakens, water is lost faster and irritants from outside get in more easily. The result is tightness, flaking, redness and sudden sensitivity to products that never caused problems before.
Is mesotherapy done for hair?
Yes, mesotherapy is also applied to the scalp. For hair loss, the cause is assessed first. If there is iron deficiency or a thyroid problem, that is dealt with first, which is why blood tests may be requested before the decision. Which treatment suits the scalp is decided at the consultation, based on the cause. Seasonal shedding often settles by itself within a few months.
