Salmon DNA (Polynucleotide) Treatment

Salmon DNA, known medically as polynucleotide treatment, is a type of mesotherapy. Molecules derived from salmon DNA are given into the skin with small injections. The aim is to stimulate cell renewal and support the tissue’s own repair process.

A cream or serum applied to the skin stays in the top layer. With injected treatments such as salmon DNA, the product reaches the target tissue directly.

Which areas is it used on? It can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands. There is also a separate version planned for the area around the eyes.

What is the difference between salmon DNA and PRP? PRP is prepared from the person’s own blood: the blood is separated in a centrifuge and the growth factors in the platelet-rich part are used. Salmon DNA is a type of mesotherapy given from outside that stimulates cell renewal. The two treatments can be done in the same person in different sessions.

How many sessions are done? Salmon DNA is not finished in one session; it is planned as a course at regular intervals. Because skin renewal takes a certain time, sessions are spaced to fit that cycle. How many sessions are needed varies with the condition of the skin.
